d1=2*55=110
d2=2.2*65=143

d=d1+d2=253

d/50=5.06=new t

new t- t=0.86hr

actually in question they asket abt either ,or means

"or" u have to add them both


" and " u have to multiply

2) try t=-2, y=-1 in this case t<y but t^2-ty< 0 won't hold
(may be there was another condition)

4) a1= 1/1 - 1/2
a2= 1/2 - 1/3
..................
a100= 1/100 -1/101

a1+a2+a3...+a100= 1-1/101 = 100/101

4. ak=(1/k)-(1/k+1).
where k is 1,2,3,....1000. then

find the value of:a1+a2+a3+a4+........+a100.

ans:-

a1=(1/1)-(1/1+1)=1-1/2
a2=(1/2)-(1/1+2)=1/2-1/3
.
.
.
a100=(1/100)-(1/100+1)=(1/100)-(1/101)

a1+a2+a3+...........+a100=1-1/2+1/2-1/3+1/3-1/4......1/100-1/101
=1-(1/101)
=100/101.

ans is 100/101.

plzz correct me if any wrong...
