Hi Dear Students I am here with presenting you some of the Recommendation Letters given to our students;
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION-1
I take great pleasure in recording my impressions about Mr. XXXXXXXXXX. In my capacity as the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, I’ve known him both personally and as a teacher for the past 3 years. My interaction with him is very concrete as I have taught him three courses in the area of Signal and Imaging Processing. I have found him to be a very sincere student endowed with intellectual ability and with a very good purchase of fundamentals of engineering and related subjects. In fact, after seeing his diligence and sincerity he has been awarded undergraduate lab assistantship by the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
During my association with him as a professor, he impressed me well with his intellectual abilities and a proactive, focused nature. He has an innate ability to grasp and master basic concepts of any subject pretty fast. His dedication to the job at hand deserves a special mention. He is an inquisitive and patient listener and has been an active participant in the classroom discussions, wherein he was very lucid and could communicate issues without any ambiguity. His methodical and meticulous approach to any problem has cast an indelible impression on me. He came up with diverse solutions to the problems posed in the class, putting forward several innovative and original ideas. Keen to understand the concepts, he never let an opportunity go by to discuss the topic after a session. He showed a lot of enthusiasm in presenting a paper on Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, a research area which interested him a lot. This to me is an essential trait for a person wishing to pursue a Ph.D.
Mr. XXXXXXXXXXXX has a limpid expression of ideas in English through oral and written means and speaks convincingly well. His choice of using diurnal examples during his seminars is outstanding. Having seen him perform to my fullest satisfaction during project seminars and topic seminars, I have no reservations in stating that he has great inclination for research. He has the right blend of aptitude, merit and tenacity. I would rank him among top 3% of his peers, taking into account all of my personal observations. He also has the making of a leader, which he has demonstrated with his efficient organizing of seminars for the Biomedical Engineering Society of India in our college.
I deem his strong pine to pursue higher studies in your decorous university appropriate for his bright future. With his sound academic background, affable personality, excellent communication skills and a strong will to succeed, I am sure he would prove to be an asset to your institution. Hence, I unconditionally recommend Mr. XXXXXXXXX to the graduate program at your university with full financial assistance. I place myself fully accessible to you, to be contacted regarding enquiries about Mr. XXXXXXXXXX.
RECOMMENDATION LETTER-2
At Present The Student Is In : Drexel University
I have known Miss XXXXXXXXX, for the past three and a half years. I have taught her a course on Bio-Fluids and Bio-Mechanics and part of a course on Medical Imaging Techniques. I have also had a chance to observe her in the Bio-transducers laboratory, which I conducted.
She is a very capable and dedicated student, with a genuine interest and depth of knowledge in the area. She did extremely well in both my courses. She is not only well versed in the theoretical aspect of her subject, but also has extensive knowledge about different mathematical tools such as Finite Element analysis, and MATLAB, in spite of them not being a part of the college curriculum.
She was active in class and always asked insightful questions, which promoted further discussion into the subject. In the lab, I noticed that she took extra pains to understand the principle behind the process, and not just the mechanics of it. It was evident that she tries to innovate and think differently both in the class and lab, because she always thought of a different approach to the solution.
An important aspect of graduate life is the ability to understand and think about other related research work. Her ability to do this was evident in the paper presentations that she made. I was particularly impressed with the presentation on fiber optic sensors where she delved into both pros and cons of the work, and brought to focus the applicability and limitations of the paper.
She was very enthusiastic in looking for a good research project for the undergraduate project. She approached me many times to discuss project ideas that she thought was interesting, and possible approaches to the problem.
I am sure she will do extremely well in graduate study and in my opinion she will prove to be good research assistant. I recommend her without hesitation for graduate study with maximum financial aid.
RECOMMENDATION LETTER-3
At Present The Student Is in : Arizona State University (Bioinformatics)
* She was my student (2 years) and a colleague (for 1 year worked as a teaching assistant)
To Whom So Ever It May Concern
It gives me pleasure in giving this letter of recommendation with respect to my Teaching Associate Miss XXXXX who has been a faculty of biomedical engineering at this institute with distinguished academic service to her credit. I have been closely following her academic pursuits and interaction with the students with a measure of admiration. She assisted me in teaching several courses to biomedical engineering students and co-supervised project works, seminars and symposia. Students are of great admiration and attachment to her. Her abilities in teaching are reflected in the levels of motivation she could impart to the students. She prepared many senior students in advanced areas, outside the gambit of the curricula, to write research and review papers, which were presented in a number of seminars and symposia. She herself worked with excellent complement for her undergraduate programme while actively carrying out various facets of academic work.
Miss XXXXXX has consistently excellent academic record with extraordinary analytical and creative abilities in terms of conceiving projects in new and promising areas as well as solving complex and mathematically involved problems. She wants to pursue graduate work to broaden her insight into emerging and virgin areas to equip her self in the task of becoming excellent researcher. She has all the qualities and capabilities for original research and ideally suited for advanced studies. MissXXXXXX bears excellent character and conduct and is simple and energetic with initiatives and drive. Her communication skills are very good and has a friendly and cooperative disposition. I strongly recommend her candidature for graduate studies and research with a research or teaching assistantship / fellowship which she eminently deserves. I wish her all the best in profession and life. I would be very happy to provide any other information required with respect to Miss XXXXXXXX.
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION-4
I have known Mr. XXXXXXXXX for the past three years in my capacity, having been his course instructor for Bio-Chemistry thesis and lab proceedings. I take great pleasure in recommending him to the MS program in your esteemed university.
During the course of the lab there were several occasions of interaction with him. I found him to be an exceptionally sincere and a diligent student. His thirst for knowledge made him gather a wide variety of information for the lab projects. He has immense interest in continuing his study in biomedical field at your esteemed institution. His marks in the core subjects stand as testimonials for his creative line of thought and a clear understanding of the concepts.
During the course, he brought queries related to the course assignments highlighting his heuristic approach of comprehending real life problems and suggested probable solutions to the same which underscored his awareness of the latest trends in his field of interest. His authority over the English Language and his ease of expression, evident from the papers he has presented and from the discussions he had with me convey his potential abilities as a teaching assistant. He has secured third position for his paper presentation on 'Magnetic Resonance Imaging' at a national level symposium. All this, coupled with his dedication to his discipline and perseverance in effort, set him apart as the ideal candidate for research.
Being among the top notch of students that I have taught, I would rate him in the top 5% of the students I have come across in my career. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending XXXXXXXX for admission to the graduate program of your university with full financial aid. I am sure; he will prove to be an asset to your university. _________________ Director,
