Correction in my answer:

4. C

Explanation for 2.

Job 1 A can complete in 20 days
Job 2 B can complete in 30 days

Job 2 twice as difficult as 1 job

So,
job 2 A can complete in 40 days
job 1 B can complete in 15 days

Combined A & B job-2 can be completed in 120/7 days.
Combined A & B job-1 can be completed in 60/7 days.

Both jobs= 180/7
which is answer D

---X---

Anyone please give explanation for 1 question.

explanation for 1st answer

from the data the base is 4.6, and other 2 sides are 5.1 5.1

draw a perpendicular line from the center of base

so you will get two right angled triangles. . .

with this figure you can find the height of the original triangle. .

formula. . . 2.3^2 + (height^2)= 5.1^2

(here 2.3 is half of the base. . .

bye this you can substitute it in the original formula. .

why have u taken 4.6 as the base.. it can be any side also..
5.1 as base.. and the remaining sides as 4.1 and 5.1.. at that time..

since our aim is to find the area , the three dimensions can be placed anywhere. the above calculation procedure is done with proper mathematical rules.

so the answer is correct .

you will be getting the same answer if interchange the sides and calculate it with some other math rules what you know

javascript:emoticon('Idea')

got it!
