ANS...let there are n students ..at first n/6 students for each row so when one row is removed it is n/5 members for each row ....n/6+k=n/5....more over n should be a multiple of 30...

| 2nd question has 6 rows . therefore the no. of students are a multiple of six. now if we arrange them exactly in 5 rows then the students are also to be multiples of 5 . in that case the total students are a multiple of both 5 and 6 . So the answer has to be a multiple of 30. |

Dear Rajat
The answer for 8 . is 1 not 3/7......
At least 2 means that min 2 or more. since 10 people are there the chance of excedding 2 peoplein a 7 days period is max. so probablity is 1.

| it is not asked in the question that how many students are there over all.... it is asked that how many students are there in the newly formed row?? so... if there are 30 students there overall, arrange them in 6 rows... for each row 5 students then remove one row and add to all the rows in equal quantity i.e,(5/5) 1 to all rows... so the answer would be 6 or 12 |
